Nokia unveils flagship gaming device, X7

Nokia has launched its X7 into the Nigeria market. The mobile phone was specially designed to offer users an unmatched gaming and video experience.

Nokia X7 is touted as the ultimate gaming and entertainment smartphone as it comes with some pre-installed games in addition to offering users the benefit of choosing from thousands of videos, games, and other applications from leading global publishers available for download from the Ovi store.

The device has a massive 4-inch AMOLED touch screen that captures high definition quality videos and allows Nokia users to watch video and the latest episodes of television programmes via webTv or YouTube.

At the unveiling of the device at an experiential event in Lagos, the Head of Marketing Nokia West Africa, Reuben Onwubiko said, Nokia X7 will offer users an unmatched experience in gaming, video and internet browsing.

He added that the device would be available immediately to subscribers on the MTN network with competitive data plan (750MB for 3months), which would provide the application software for Nokia X7.

He noted that users should look out for the MTN sticker on the box and the Nokia warranty to enjoy the offer.

“The Nokia X7 would redefine the face of gaming and video experience and at the same time, offer a powerful browsing experience to the user,” he said.

Onwubiko said that the Nokia X7 is designed specially to satisfy the customer who enjoys the thrill of high definition gaming, while adding that game lovers would be thrilled as the X7 already comes with two pre-installed games- Galaxy on fire and Asphalt 5HD.

The device offers a wonderful musical experience as users of Nokia X7 can scroll smoothly through their music collection and control their tracks right from the home screen with one touch of the music application.

Its 8-mega pixel enables users to capture pictures and high definition quality videos. Nokia X7 has an amplified 680 MHz processor and 256 MB RAM, equipped with dual-LED flash and can record 720p video.
