Google launches storage service Google Drive

Google has launched a new online storage service called Google Drive.

Google drive would enable users’ access the service and their stored content from any fixed or mobile internet connection, with an Android app already available and an iOS app planned.

The drive also enables users make selected files open to sharing with others, add and reply to comments on stored documents, and receive notifications when others post comments on shared items.

Google Drive comes with an initial 5GB storage free. Users can upgrade to 25GB for  N468.00  per month (USD 2.49) 100GB for N780.00 (USD 4.99 ) and 1TB for N7, 800.00 (USD 49.99).

By choosing a paid account, they also get increased storage on Gmail of 25GB. Normal storage on Gmail was increased to 10GB from 7.5GB to coincide with the launch of Google Drive.
