Nigerian commercial bank, Access Bank has launched a mobile payments application that enable users make payment through generated QR code, called "PayWithCapture".

With the application, users can scan a QR code via phone camera at a merchants point of sale, as an alternative to paying with cards on POS terminals or probable paying with cash.

The uniqueness of this application, is that it allows for multiple channel linkage for users who have several accounts with different banks in Nigeria.

In three simple steps, new users can activate the application on their device.

Add Payment Method: Link a credit/debit card, a bank account or a mobile money account to PayWithCapture. You only need to do this once.

Scan QR Code: Scan a payment QR code on a merchant website, a checkout station or even printed on paper and pasted on the wall or the checkout counter.

Make Payment: Confirm the amount and then pay.

PayWithCapture has launched a number of large merchants as pilot partners, including Payporte, South African Airways, Traclist, AirFrance, Arik Air, Domino’s Pizza and Easy Taxi, which before now has only accepted payments in cash.
